in the presence of the directors
Being mothers and being sons and daughters, two intimately conjoined and at the same time irreconcilable experiences. Starting from this gap, three mothers and their respective children, through a mirror, look at themselves and each other. The three directors weave a tale about identity, made up of expectations, similarities, derailments and disjointed mirroring.

Arianna Maria Casati (Piacenza, 1997) is a graduate in Media Design and Multimedia Arts at NABA in Milan. She is the author of two short films: Solletico (2017), La danza degli acari (2019).
Jasna Camilla Grossi (Banja Luka, 1996) is a graduate in Modern Literature at the State University of Milan.
Bianca Maria Thiebat (Biella, 1996) is a D.A.M.S. graduate from the University of Turin.
Arianna, Bianca and Camilla met while attending the Documentary Course at Scuola Civica L. Visconti in Milan from 2022 to 2024. Ma’ is their graduation project.
