A dark fairy tale set in the Emilian Apennines, between myth and metamorphosis, tells the tale of the violence of man. Almost like a reminder of Lo Zibaldone, nature is both mother and stepmother, and human presence is accepted but cannot overpower. Stefani gets us lost in the meanders of a forest, which tells more about our society than it may seem.

Director and producer from Emilia-Romagna. In 2018, she studied production at the New York Film Academy and founded the independent film production company Scarabeo Entertainment starting to direct her first documentary, The Arch., shot on 4 continents, released theatrically by Adler Entertainment in September 2021 and now visible on Sky Arte. In 2021 she directed the docufilm La Moda del Liscio, among the winning projects of the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission’s regional call for proposals. The film, which obtained the Green Film certification issued by the Trentino Film Commission, was selected as a special event at the Bellaria Festival, the Mente Locale Festival, and won the “Doc/It Professional Award for Green Production” at the Torino Film Festival.
