Jeanne Francoeur is 24 and nonbinary, whose great ambition is to work in the world of finance, until they manage to get hired as an intern at a finance company where they are immediately noticed. After finding a mistake made by an employee, Jeanne gets into the good graces of their employer, who decides to mentor them.
Héléna Klotz stages the swan song of contemporary neoliberalism, reinterpreting the dystopian tale in the light of a subversion hidden in the plots of power.

Director and screenwriter. After directing her first short film, Héléna Klotz made soundtracks for theatre and worked on the casting of several films. Her first feature film, L’Âge Atomique (2012), presented at the Berlin Film Festival in the Panorama section, won the FIPRESCI award. In 2015 she collaborated artistically with Jacques Audiard on Dheepan, which received the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in the same year. La Venus d’argent (Spirit of Ecstasy) is her first feature film.
