Bellaria Film Festival | From 12th to 15th May 2022

The Bellaria Film Festival (BFF), the historic Italian festival dedicated to independent cinema, is ready for its fortieth edition: it will be held from 12 to 15 May 2022 in Bellaria Igea Marina (Rimini), a famous locality on the Romagna Riviera that has been a meeting place for filmmakers and film enthusiasts for years.

The new artistic director will be Daniela Persico, appointed by the Municipality of Bellaria Igea Marina together with the organisational direction by Approdi, a young company based in Bellaria Igea Marina and dedicated to art-house cinema.

The Bellaria Film Festival is one of the longest-running festivals in Italy, founded in 1983 by the Bellaria Igea Marina Tourist Board, and directed, among others, by Enrico Ghezzi, Morando Morandini and Gianni Volpi.

There will be many new features: concerts, talks and masterclasses with international guests and a celebratory exhibition to celebrate the fortieth edition of the historic festival from 12 to 15 May 2022.

The celebrations of the fortieth edition of the BFF will continue throughout the summer of 2022.
