CINEMA — regional and national perspectives

On Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024 at 3:30 p.m., a regional participatory meeting on national and regional cinema will be held at the Fulgor Cinema in Rimini, a gathering of professionals and practitioners from every sector of the film and audiovisual industry.

 

This is a complex and dynamic time both nationally and regionally, in which we need to look for new work possibilities and new ways of production – and even more. So we thought of an event to give everyone a chance to catch up with the contemporary situation and create a common and united work front.

 

Professionals’ talks will bring us up to date on the state of the art of cinema and audiovisuals, starting from the situation in the Emilia-Romagna region and arriving at the national point of view. A space will then be opened for dialogue and sharing of thoughts, doubts and proposals, during which everyone will be able to intervene, bringing their testimony, their opinions and thus opening a collective debate.

 

The goal is to better understand the contemporary situation, and consolidate possible openings for future avenues. Together.

 

The meeting is open to all people who work in the film and audiovisual world, regardless of their role and task in the industry and the territory they belong to. People curious about understanding film culture today and its possible developments are also more than welcome.

 

The event is organized by the Bellaria Film Festival, in collaboration with Approdi, NAUFRAGARE and Meet The Docs, and hosted by the Fulgor Cinema.
